Kainchi Dham, a renowned ashram, is located near Nainital, nestled between two hills that form a scissor-like shape. This spiritually uplifting place, filled with positive energy and hope, welcomes people of all faiths. Situated at an altitude of 1,402 meters in the Kainchi village near Bhowali, along the Nainital-Almora Road, Kainchi Dham is one of the top attractions in Uttarakhand. The main temple of the ashram, built in 1962, is dedicated to Baba Neem Karoli, who was believed to be the incarnation of Lord Hanuman and devoted his life to bringing joy and well-being to his followers.

The temple hosts an annual fair on June 15, during which a grand Bhandara (feast) is organized to feed over a hundred thousand people. Kainchi Dham also gained worldwide recognition after Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared that he had visited the shrine, and mentioned that Apple CEO Steve Jobs had visited in the 1970s, practicing meditation there.

Best time to visit Kainchi Dham: The ashram is open throughout the year. During winter, it operates from 7 AM to 6 PM, and in summer, it is open from 6 AM to 7 PM.
